Directed by David Wilson, the idea for Metronomy’s brand new video for latest single ‘The Bay’ apparently sprung from frontman Joseph Mount’s desire to re-do Will Smith’s ‘Miami’ video but in Torquay. Well the four-piece do certainly manage to make the Devon seaside town look glamorous as the band’s signature electro-pop soundscape accompanies footage of high-heeled women in bathing suits, sun lit pools and boats in the harbour.
Metronomy are set to tour the UK in September.
