Metronomy have revealed "Night Owl", the latest taste of upcoming record Summer 08.
This latest tune follows "Old Skool" and "Back Together" in previewing the LP, Joe Mount & Co.'s fifth. It's rife with sparkly neon synths and that signature bass thump, and although the band make an effortlessly catchy chunk of high-energy dancefloor bait, there's a wave of darkness rippling through.
A video, filmed in Palm Desert, Palm Springs by Mr. Oizo, is due in the next few weeks.
Summer 08 is out 1 July via Because Music. It follows 2013's Love Letters.
