Merge/Wichita announce new signing: ‘Times New Viking’

Previously signed to Matador, Ohio based trio Times New Viking have signed to Merge(US)/Wichita(Europe) to release their forthcoming record Dancer Enquired. The follow up to 2009’s critically acclaimed Born Again Revisted, the new album promises a similar lo-fi indie soundscape but with a more mature approach.

The three-piece have already shared a beautifully understated and infectious snippet of what’s to come in the form of track ‘No Room To Live,’ which now has its own video. Directed and edited by Brandon Reichard and Palham Johnston, and produced by the band, the vibrant footage is the result of around 40 different contributing artists.
