Mercury Prize ceremony to be televised in full for first time ever
This year’s Mercury Prize is set to be held next week, with the event broadcast in full for the first time ever.
The ceremony will take place at London’s Roundhouse venue next Wednesday (30 October), with a 45 minute-long programme airing on More4 from 9.30pm. Viewers will also be able to tune in to Channel 4 at 10pm to find out the winner.
A full broadcast of the event will air on Channel 4 the day after (Thursday 31 October) at 11pm. It’ll be hosted by Lauren Laverne and Nick Grimshaw.
