The key dates for this year’s Mercury Prize have been unveiled, with the 2013 ceremony to take place on Wednesday 30 October at its recent new home of London’s Roundhouse.
Meanwhile, labels have between 3 June and 10 July to sumbit acts to be considered for this year’s shortlist, with the twelve nominations announced on 11 September.
British albums released between 11 September 2012 and 9 September 2013 will all be eligible.
Last year’s winner was Alt-J for An Awesome Wave, with the likes of Jessie Ware, Richard Hawley, Lianne La Havas and more also nominated.
