Melody's Echo Chamber has shared "Cross My Heart", the first track from upcoming record Bon Voyage.
The seven-minute psych-pop ode is Melody Prochet's first since 2014's "Shirim" - that track was then described as the first single from her second LP, reportedly due out in 2015. The reasons for the delay are unclear, but the ball is now rolling on LP2.
Bon Voyage is the long-awaited follow up to Prochet's 2012 debut, produced with Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker. Prochet has written, peformed, and produced the the album with Fredrik Swahn and Dungen's Reine Fiske. Gustav Ejstes (also Dungen) and Psyechedelic-Erik contribute organ and flute respectively.
Bon Voyage is expected to be released via Prochet's Rayon Vert label in the coming months.
