Max Richter is streaming his new record SLEEP overnight for one night only
Berlin-based artist Max Richter will be streaming his new eight hour composition SLEEP in full tonight (3 September) for one night only.
In our review, Max Sanderson wrote that "It's hard to deny that Max Richter is truly a modern day musical genius and with his latest offering - 'A manifesto for a slower pace of existence' in his own words – you can’t really argue. Musically incredible and conceptually spot on, is there anything this man can’t do? I’m going to say ‘no’."
You can stream the composition from 8p.m., wherever you are. This will be the first occasion that anyone can hear the full piece as it was intended.
Listeners are "invited to share their experiences, dreams and thoughts" via the hashtag #OneWorldSleep, on Instagram, Twitter, and/or Facebook.
