In a rather unique way to promote her new album, Marnie Stern is offering fans the chance to go on an all-expenses paid date with her.
As Pitchfork note, there are some mitigating criteria, namely the following…
The lucky winner must:
- enjoy Law and Order
- like cute Jewish ladies
- … and petting dogs while eating chicken wings.
- have a good sense of humor critical
- not mind his lady touring a lot
- live in New York
- not be a drug addict, creep, stalker, slacker, or vegan.
- be of any age, race, and religion.
An interview process will then take place, with Stern posing such questions as:
- Are you gainfully employed?
- Are you willing to surrender your last girlfriend’s email address?
- What anti-depressants do you currently take?
- What qualities do you enjoy in a woman?
Those still interested can email datemarnieonreleasedate@gmail.com for more information.
Good luck!
Stern’s new album, The Chronicles of Marnia, will drop 19 March via Kill Rock Stars
