Marlene and Ji Nilsson unite as Pure Shores and unveil new disco banger "Like A Fool"
Pure Shores, the collaborative project of Swedish singer/songwriters Marlene and Ji Nilsson, have returned with their new single "Like A Fool".
"Like A Fool" is the first single from the duo this year, arriving after last year's "You Don't Wanna Know" and "Rushing".
The duo say of "Like A Fool", "The song is about pretending to not know that your lover is playing you, so you act like a fool and dance along even though you know better."
They add of the disco-infused visual, "We wanted to create a modern nostalgic space that captures the stressful, heartbroken feeling of trying to keep a happy face even though you are failing to get attention from your love interest. Much like a Disco Classic."
