Marcus Mumford unveils new solo single "Cannibal"

Marcus Mumford has released new single "Cannibal", the lead outing from his debut solo album (self-titled).
After announcing his debut solo album earlier this week, Marcus Mumford has delivered the lead outing from the record, "Cannibal".
Earlier this week, Mumford wrote of the song and album on socials, "In January 2021, facing demons I danced with for a long time in isolation, I wrote a song called "Cannibal". I took it to my friend Blake Mills, and we began the process of making the album, dear to my heart, called (self-titled)."
(self-titled) will feature collaborations with Phoebe Bridgers, Brandi Carlile, Clairo and Monica Martin.

"Cannibal" is out now. Marcus Mumford's debut solo album (self-titled) will arrive 16 September via Island Records, and is available to pre-order now. He'll play London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on 15 November.
