Staunchly proud of their Welsh roots, the Manic Street Preachers have shared this new clip for recent album track ’Anthem for a Lost Cause’, in which the band remember the miners’ strike of the 1980s.
The track is lifted from the band’s recent LP, Rewind The Film, with its accompanying video seeing a young woman from the South Wales valleys hit hard by Thatcher’s politics selling her worldly possession to afford the artistic materials needed simply to make a protest banner.
