Following Monday’s show at The Deaf Institute, Manchester Aid to Kosovo are set to take over the Union Chapel this evening.
Ten years after they released their first compilation album to raise money to help the war-torn country of Kosovo, MAK are still hard at work: aiming to bring aid, education and help to a poverty stricken country that still find them selves reeling from the turbulent civil war. Always using Manchester’s vibrant music scene as their inspiration, the charity’s latest album ten features the likes of Elbow, Cherry Ghost and Doves.
Show casing the new compilation tonight will be the likes of Badly Drawn Boy, Jim Noir and Gideon Conn. Tickets for the show are available here or you can buy a ticket/CD bundle here.
