
Makaya McCraven and Melody Gardot among first names for EFG London Jazz Festival 2022
The first wave of names for this year's EFG London Jazz Festival have been revealed, featuring Makaya McCraven, Melody Gardot and more.
This year EFG London Jazz Festival will celebrate its 30th birthday with over 300 shows across multiple London venues in November, and today (19 April) the first wave of names have been announced.
Makaya McCraven is set to play Islington Town Hall on 18 November, while Melody Gardot will perform at the Royal Festival Hall on 19 November. Other names confirmed for EFG London Jazz Festival 2022 include Dianne Reeves, Amythyst Kiah, Abdullah Ibrahim, Dhafer Youssef, Bendik Giske, Courtney Pine, Matana Roberts and more.
This year's edition of the festival will feature live and digital performances, special collaborations, new commissions and more.
