
Maggie Rogers shares letter she received from Barack and Michelle Obama
Maggie Rogers has shared an image of the letter she received from Barack and Michelle Obama.
In August, Barack Obama shared his summer playlist, which included Maggie Rogers' "Burning" track.
After learning that her track was featured on the playlist, Rogers wrote on Twitter, "swimming in from a half nude convo with my best friend about gratitude in the aegean to this PRIME OBAMA CONTENT."
Last night (8 October), Rogers shared an image of a letter she received from Barack and Michelle Obama, in which they send their best wishes for her shows at The Anthem in Washington DC.
The Obamas wrote, "We are huge fans, so we are sorry we can't join for what we're sure will be a wonderful couple of evenings at The Anthem. Good luck on the next part of your journey - looking forward to decades of great music from you!"
Rogers captioned the image of the letter: "i have never before cried at the sight of my full name. i love you mr + mrs o. this is my grammy."
