Maggie Rogers and Janelle Monáe among future Princess Megan Markle's favourite artists
The British Royal Family is growing - Prince Harry is tying the knot, with now-fiancée Meghan Markle set to become a Princess in spring 2018.
And it looks like Markle, a Los Angeles-born actress, model, and humanitarian, will be bring some actual tunes to Buckingham Palace when she visits. Queenie better be passing her the aux cord.
While writing for her now-defunct lifestyle blog The Tig, Markle shared a short-but-fire playlist featuring numbers by Janelle Monáe, Maggie Rogers, Crystal Fighters, Dragonette, Flight Facilities, and Mr. Little Jeans - in an accompanying blurb, she wrote that it should serve up a "fresh dose of unbridled joy".
"Turn these tracks on as you're getting ready in the morning, when you need a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, or during your next evening celebration," she wrote. "Because when the air is filled with positive vibes, there's no winter cold that can block out the warmth of happy hearts."
Sounds like this playlist will be pretty great right about now, huh?
