Mac Miller's own mother shot his nude album cover photo
Pittsburgh rapper, Mac Miller recently released his new album Watching Movies With The Sound Off and as striking as the LP’s wide array of guest stars was the album cover itself.
The cover, if you can’t see it above, featured a starkers Miller sat at his dinner table with only a neatly-placed Parental Advisory sticker to hide his modesty. And what could be more embarrassing than having to pose for that kind of thing? Perhaps having your mother around.
Speaking to Clash Magazine for an upcoming feature, Miller said that his mother was not only present during the shoot but actually took the final snap.
“It’s great to do that with my family, because my mom gets excited,” he told the mag. “You know, no one takes a better picture of you than your mother.”
Watching Movies With The Sound Off is out now, featuring the likes of Diplo, Flying Lotus and Pharrell Williams on production duties, as well as collaborations with Tyler the Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Action Bronson and more.
