M.I.A.unshackles "Swords" and "Warriors" as part of new audiovisual project

M.I.A. has released a new single/audiovisual project called Matahdatah Scroll 01: "Broader Than A Border".
You can hear the new single "Swords", as well as "Warriors" (not a new song as previously reported - it featured on Matangi), now on Apple Music. Or you can buy it, if you're feeling old-fashioned. The new visual accompaniment, covering both tracks, was filmed in West Africa and India.
Rumours are swirling that this release is set to tease M.I.A.'s upcoming fifth studio record, following 2013's aforementioned Matangi.
The project was announced over the weekend on her social media accounts.
