Lou Reed set to make posthumous chart return

The music of Lou Reed looks set to re-enter the charts this weekend following the influential singer’s passing last Sunday.
Reed’s classic solo album, Transformer currently stands at #24 in the UK Albums Chart, according to the Official Charts Company. Meanwhile, both “Perfect Day” and “Walk On The Wild Side” look set to make the Top 40 Singles, at #33 and #38 respectively at the time of publishing.
The Velvet Underground & Nico by the musician’s band The Velvet Underground is also climbing posthumously, currently occupying the #85 spot.
