Lorde has not been shy in speaking about her love for Arcade Fire, but still it comes as a bit of a surprise that she’ll be opening for the Canadian band this weekend in London.
As ArcadeFireTube reports, both Lorde and 2 Many DJs will support Win Butler and co this Saturday (7 June) at Earls Court. Pulp’s Steve Mackey will also take up DJ duties on the night.
The show comes ahead of the band’s Hyde Park outing next month, which will see Wild Beasts and Future Islands also on the bill.
