Lorde becomes youngest person to score U.S number one single in 26 years

New Zealand pop upcomer, Lorde knocked Miley Cyrus off the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week to become the youngest top-spotter in 26 years.
The 16 year-old singer achieved her first U.S number one single with ‘Royals’, replacing Cyrus’ ‘Wrecking Ball’ after a few weeks at third position.
Lorde marked the occasion by appearing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, where she performed that very track. Watch the performance beneath:
