London is getting a new open-air venue called Dockyards
Broadwick Live, the team behind Printworks, Magazine, the Drumsheds and more, have announced a new open-air London venue called Dockyards, which is set to open later this year.
Dockyards is a 400,000 sq ft open-air venue located in Silvertown Quays on the bank of the River Thames, next to London City Airport.
The open-air events space is expected to have a "year-round curated programme," and will, according to the site, "continuously evolve to create new and exciting environments filled with a variety of events driven by innovation and imagination."

According to Mixmag, Broadwick Live’s Group Managing Director Bradley Thompson said, "We’re really excited to open Dockyards, creating a new centre of cultural gravity for London in the heart of The Royal Docks."
"Dockyards will shape the area through cultural and commercial innovation by bringing a year-round programme of events and activities in partnership with the world’s best," Thompson added.
