Listen to The National's Matt Berninger contribute to Boardwalk Empire soundtrack
A second volume of the soundtrack to HBO show Boardwalk Empire is set for release next month, with a flurry of impressive contributors among the tracklisting. Among that list is The National frontman Matt Berninger, whose version of Isham Jones’ ‘I’ll See You In My Dreams’ can be heard beneath.
Boardwalk Empire Volume 2: Music From The HBO® Original Series is the follow-up to the Grammy-winning first part, and will come out on 3 September. It sees a collection of artists giving their takes on classic songs from the 1920s.
Also elsewhere on the soundtrack are Patti Smith, St. Vincent, Neko Case, Elvis Costello, Karen Elson, Rufus Wainwright, plus more.
