A collection of previously unreleased material by the late experimental composer Arthur Russell is set to be premiered at an exhibition in Detroit this weekend. If you can’t wait for that, or simply unable to make it, you can listen to one of the highlights right now in the form of this alternate version of Talking Heads’ ‘Psycho Killer’.
Previously unheard, the track features Arthur Russell on cello duty and David Byrne in typically brilliant form. Listen to all that below, with thanks for Dazed Digital for the stream.
More info on the Detroit event can be found here.
