Listen to SoKo's new album My Dreams Dictate My Reality [UK Premiere]
French singer/actress SoKo is streaming her new long-player My Dreams Dictate My Reality on Best Fit.
The record features collaborations with Ariel Pink, and was produced by Ross Robinson, and sees SoKo traverse shimmering '80s pop and gothtronica vibes. Her sounds are infectiously lo-fi at points, like Sky Ferreira's ramshackle pop, but also dream-laced nuggets of mist too.
Describing punky lead single "Who Wears The Pants??", SoKo says it's her "first ever protest song... I wrote it when I got fed up with all the crap hear from homophobic demons."
SoKo is also set to play the UK soon, on 25 March at Manchester's Ruby Lounge, and at St. John's Church, Fulham (London) on 26 March.
My Dreams Dictate My Reality is out 2 March on Babycat/Because.
