Louisville-based theatrical rockers, Wax Fang have unveiled a new standalone single, entitled ‘King Of The Kingdom Of Man’.
The 7-minute track is as grand as its cover art, all sweeping strings and lyrics that speak of alpha men and gods.
“This is kind of an old song,” lead singer Scott Carney told MTV Hive.
“At the time it was very much a religious standoff for me as a sort of agnostic/atheist. And was sort of just imagining a bastard God who creates all these things, but is just annoyed when he creates things and kicks his creations out of his kingdom and is annoyed if they ever come back around wanting anything.”
