Following the recent news that Phil Elverum is to record new, reimagined versions of a collection of his Mount Eerie tracks, a fresh take on ‘The Hidden Stone’ has been unveiled.

Unlike the lo-fi drone rock of the original, the promised autotune and distortion conspire to make it an unexpectedly sultry reworking. Listen to ‘The Hidden Stone’ at NPR. Pre-Human Ideas is out 12 November.
