Listen to Kurt Cobain's lost 1988 mixtape

03 November 2014, 09:35 | Written by Laurence Day

You can now listen to a previously-lost mixtape from Kurt Cobain, called Montage Of Heck, made in 1988 using a four-track and, as Dangerous Minds note, "sounds from Kurt’s wide-ranging collection of LPs, manipulated recordings of the radio, elements of Nirvana demos, and sounds created or recorded by Cobain."

The Nirvana frontman's musical taste was famously eclectic, ranging from classic pop, hardcore punk and everything between, so expect a wide-ranging breadth on Montage Of Heck: from George Michael to Sesame Street samples to William Shatner to the Butthole Surfers.

Listen to Montage Of Heck and then check out the list of featured artists below.
