Listen to Kele Okereke preview a new Bloc Party song called "Exes"
Kele Okereke has confirmed that Bloc Party are currently recording their fifth full-length, and he's teased "Exes" its first track.
Speaking on Australian radio station Triple J, Okereke said: "I guess it's the first time that I have talked about it but we are making a record at the moment... it's sounding like nothing that we've done before but that's what everyone always says! We're at the writing/recording phase. We've started recording - I think we have about 18 ideas and we're going to lay them down properly in the next few months."
As well as confirming the plans to make a follow up to 2012's Four, which he hinted at last September, Okereke also previewed a new track from the band called "Exes". He played about 30 seconds of the track using just an acoustic guitar, and you can hear it below.
Okereke is currently touring his own solo record Trick, which is out now.
