Since winning the Mercury Prize with The XX, Jamie Smith has been rather busy. Smith has not only remixed Adele’s latest single ‘Rolling In The Deep’, but also recently put together a mix for Radio 1, featuring tracks from Beach House, Mount Kimbie and James Blake amongst his own original material.
Smith has also been working with legendary musician Gil Scott-Heron on their forthcoming collaborative effort We’re New Here; a remixed version of Scott-Heron’s 2010 LP I’m New Here. Due out on February 21 through XL/Young Turks, you can listen to their recently revealed remix ‘I’ll Take Care of U’ below, along with everything the young producer has been up to.
