Taken from The Flaming Lips’ forthcoming Record Store Day release The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends, ‘Ashes In The Air’ is but one collaborative effort we can expect to emerge over the coming weeks. A slightly bizarre concoction the surreal, droning pyschadelia of Wayne Coyne & co. underlines the auto-tuned falsetto of Bon Iver‘s Justin Vernon and lyrical gems like “but they had robot dogs.”
Keep your eyes peeled to The Future Heart for previews of every collaboration from the forthcoming record.
