This year, Rotterdam will once again play to host one of The Netherlands’ best free festivals, Metropolis. In previous years, the festival – which takes place in Zuiderpark – has seen artists such as The Smashing Pumpkins, The Prodigy, The Wrens, Wu-Tang Clan, The Strokes, Interpol, The xx and Why? grace its several stages.
The 22nd group of artists to join the Metropolis hall of fame includes Japandroids, Adam Green, Brother Ali, Baroness, Here We Go Magic, James Yuill, Omar Souleyman and The Strange Boys.
And did we mention it’s completely free!? The festival runs from 13:00 on Sunday July 4 and is bound to be an unmissable event. For the full line-up and more information, check out the official website.
