Lil Wayne has responded to his recent omission by both the MTV Video Music Awards nominations list and that of the BET Hip-hop Awards.
His reply? To try harder, even if it kills him. Given his recent health problems, it seems a curious thing to say.
Posting on Twitter, Wayne wrote:
“Noticed I wasn’t nominated nor involved n da MTV VMA’s nor da BET awards…I apologize to my fans and I promise 2 work harder if it kills me.”
Meanwhile, he’s announced he’s following up his recent I Am Not a Human Being II album with his Dedication 5 mixtape, which will drops on Friday (30 August).
