Lil Wayne hospitalised after multiple seizures, reports vary over health

As reported earlier this week, Lil Wayne has been in hospital after suffering seizures during a recent music shoot. His health, however, reportedly deteriorated over the weekend – leading to varied reports on his condition.

Celeb gossip website, TMZ were at the forefront of the reports, stating on Friday night that Wayne was in a “critical condition”, under a “medically-induced coma” and that doctors were waiting for his mother to arrive before delivering his “last rites”.

They’ve now back-tracked a little, with Wayne himself tweeting: ”I’m good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love.” The website seem to have now deleted some of the original reporting on the event, claiming instead that the rapper is still in critical condition but is improving gradually.

The latest is that Wayne, according to his publicist, “did have a seizure but is recovering.” It’s also been confirmed that Drake has visited the hip-hop star at his hospital bed-side.
