Lil Wayne criticised for dancing on American flag
Lil Wayne has been in the news a lot recently, be it health issues or for mocking murdered black child Emmett Till in some of his lyrics. Now, the rapper seems to be in hot water again after being criticised for performing on top of an American flag at the shoot for one of his new music videos.
Wayne was recently on the set for ‘God Bless Amerika’, which sees the hip-hop star lip-sync to a camera in front of the stars and stripes hanging behind. The flag is then cut loose and Weezy proceeds to dance on top of it.
Conservative commentators have called the rapper disrespectful for his actions, claiming it to be a crime and a defiling of the U.S emblem.
