The "Old Town Road" hitmaker first teased "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)" back in July last year with a clip of him playing it in his car, and in the months since then Lil Nas X has shared various clips of the song, while also appearing in Logitech's Super Bowl advert last month which was soundtracked by the song.

Last night (9 March), Lil Nas X officially announced the single, confirming its full title of "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)", as well as sharing the artwork and release date.

Back in January Lil Nas X's huge hit "Old Town Road" became the most certified song in US music history with its 14th platinum certification.

He's yet to follow up his 2019 debut EP 7.

Lil Nas X's "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)" single will land on 26 March.
