Light Conductor announce debut album with eight-minute excerpt of opener "A Bright Resemblance"
Young Galaxy’s Stephen Ramsay and Jace Lasek of The Besnard Lakes unite under new group Light Conductor, announce debut record with lead track "A Bright Resemblance".
Ramsay and Lasek are working together under a new moniker Light Conductor. They're longtime collaborators, and have been making "slow jams" for years, only having just completed their first body of work at Lasek's Breakglass Studio in Montréal.
The first track to be revealed from Sequence One is the opening track from the record "A Bright Resemblance". While the full track is 11 minutes, the pair have shared an eight-minute excerpt riddled with spiralling synth melodies.
The duo have also recruited Young Galaxy's Catherine McCandless for backing vocals on the last track of their project, "Light Conductor".
