Liars to release string-embedded vinyl for Record Store Day

With their new album out later this month, Liars have now announced a special release for Record Store Day.
To fit in with the aesthetic of their new album campaign and artwork, the group will release lead cut “Mess On A Mission” on string-embedded vinyl come 19 April.
“We talked about the idea for days but weren’t at all sure it could physically be done,” the band said of the 12″. “To us it seemed like such a unique and interesting way to extend the visual language of Mess right inside the music.”
The band’s new album Mess is out on 24 March. Check out a stream of “Mess On A Mission” below, as well as a picture of said string-embedded vinyl:
