R&B singer and former Fugees star, Lauryn Hill begins her 3 month sentence in prison this week after previously being found guilty of owing $1.8m in unpaid taxes.
Having recently penning an open letter on racism in the legal system, TMZ are now reporting that the singer has reported to Danbury, Connecticut’s correctional centre to start her prison sentence.
The musician had previously signed a deal with Sony in an attempt to raise funds to pay off her debts.
