Laura Marling unveils new video for Director's Cut version of "I Feel Your Love"
Following the release of the expanded edition of her critically acclaimed fifth album, Short Movie Director's Cut, Laura Marling has unveiled a new video for a reworking of popular live track, "I Feel Your Love".
Marling explained the influences behind the re-recordings and the subsequent release of Director's Cut:
“The addition of new guitarist Pete's style of playing combined with a lack of need to be delicate for the sake of hearing strings led to the tone becoming thicker and grittier. And as an unexpected result, we discovered that we like sticky rhythms...and seem to speak a similar language in rhythm and tone, it’s a very special quite rare thing!”
Marling has also announced a live show at the London Forum on 9 September.
