Laura Marling, Mystery Jets, Lewis Capaldi and more to play fundraising event for CALM
London venue Omeara will host Laura Marling, Mystery Jets, Lewis Capaldi and more for an intimate fundraising event for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).
London's Flat Iron Square will welcome a mix of music and comedy next month to raise funds for the male suicide prevention charity CALM.
Laura Marling will perform at Omeara for the fundraising event, as well as shorter sets from Mystery Jets, Lewis Capaldi, Bear's Den, The Staves and Isaac Gracie.
Omeara will be hosting the live music for the event, while Après will host the comedians next month.
Simon Gunning, CEO of CALM, comments, "As an organisation with roots in the music and comedy communities, we’re delighted to be joining with Omeara and Flat Iron Square to bring together these incredible artists and comedians."
He adds, "Suicide remains the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK, but events like this enable us to engage an audience in this issue while raising the funds that will allow us to continue supporting men who may be going through a tough time in their lives.”
