Yesterday (21 October), Låpsley shared a statement on Instagram about why she has taken three years to release new music. She wrote, "The last few years have been a journey of self-discovery. I needed that time and isolation to care for my mental wellbeing; in order to create something that I felt was the truest version of myself."
