Lambchop's Kurt Wagner joins Gone to Color on new single "Just Smile"
Kurt Wagner of Lambchop features on Gone to Color's latest single "Just Smile", which will appear on the duo's self-titled debut album out next month.
Gone to Color, the project of Tyler Bradley Walker and Matt Heim, have collaborated with Lambchop's Kurt Wagner for their latest release "Just Smile". It'll appear on the duo's upcoming debut album alongside earlier outings "Suicide" with LIARS, "Dissolved" featuring Martina Topley-Bird, "Illusions" with Ade Blackburn, Carson Cox collaboration "Voyeur Nation" and "The 606" featuring Jessie Stein.
Speaking about the collaboration, Wagner said, "When Gone to Color contacted me about working together I was struck by their sonics. They were pretty intense and inspiring, so the work was a pleasure. At the time, I had no idea who these guys were, but they make good art and that’s enough for me, plus they seem to appreciate my way with words, which is big and their approach in collaboration is right and true."
