Lady Gaga goes full-on country with new ballad "Million Reasons"
Lady Gaga's dropped three new tunes today, including the latest single from upcoming LP Joanne, "Million Reasons".
"Million Reasons", a co-write with Mark Ronson, Bloodpop, and Tennessean songwriter Hillary Lindsey, is rammed with emotion. It's a big country ballad with lush instrumentation and gorgeous harmonies - it's a reminder that behind all the pomp and pop gloss, Gaga's one of the 21st century's strongest singers.
As well as the heartstring-yankin' new cut, Gaga performed "Sinner's Prayer" and "A-Yo" in the wee hours of last night at a show in a Nashville dive bar. Recent smash "Perfect Illusion" was debuted in a similar way at London's Moth Club last month.
Joanne is released 21 October, and you can pre-order it now.
