Labrinth announces long-awaited second album with new single "Where The Wild Things"
Labrinth has announced his long-awaited second album Imagination & the Misfit Kid, alongside sharing new track "Where The Wild Things".
"Where The Wild Things" follows on from last month's "Something's Got To Give".
Last week, Labrinth was also credited as a co-writer and co-producer of Kanye West's "God Is" on his JESUS IS KING album.
Speaking about his own album Imagination & the Misfit Kid, which has been seven years in the making, Labrinth says, "I’m here to make music, and a lot of it. This album is the beginning of the madness. You might be sick of me after this, but I’m going in. It’s time."
Labrinth's new LP was recorded between New York’s Electric Lady, and London's RAK and Air studios.
Imagination & the Misfit Kid will also feature previous singles "Mount Everest", "Miracle", and "Misbehaving".
Labrinth's new album will be his first solo LP since 2012's Electronic Earth. This year he released LSD with Sia and Diplo, and also curated the soundtrack for HBO's EUPHORIA.
