Krill announce split, schedule farewell shows
Today Krill announced that their band, sadly, is to be no more. Scheduling a couple of final shows together, the group will bowing out from their time together next month.
Krill shared the following statement on their Facebook earlier today.
"Hello friends of Krill ~~ there is news: we have decided to stop doing/being Krill. We have a trillion people to thank for the very very very very good run we've had, but it is time for us to do other things. We've been insanely lucky to work with the people we've worked with, play with the bands we've played with, and have the support of so many great and kind people. Even though we won't be an active band anymore, our albums will still be there for listening."
The statement continues on to state that the band will be honouring all scheduled shows, and announce two farewell concerts. The first of these takes place on 15 October at Great Scott in Allson, Massachusetts, whilst the second is set for 23 October at The Silent Bar in Brooklyn, New York.
Thanks everybody for everything. Lot of tears cheers and jeers to come.
