Krept of rap duo Krept & Konan has revealed he's "good" after being stabbed backstage at BBC Radio 1Xtra's Live event in Birmingham on Saturday (5 October).

Krept, real name Casyo Johnson, was treated on-site after being stabbed backstage at the BBC Radio 1Xtra Live event in Birmingham.

The event, which was due to host Wizkid as the headliner, was cut short after Johnson was slashed.

BBC Radio 1 apologised for the event getting cut short, and said the "health and safety of everyone involved is always our top priority."

Johnson also updated fans on his condition, writing, "My people thanks for the messages Im good, ill be back in no time. God was with me trust me. Can't keep a good man down."

Yesterday (6 October), Johnson also revealed that he'll drop "Morely's Freestyle" this Thursday (10 October), and has three surprises coming this week.

Shortly after the incident, a voice note of Johnson talking about the incident to friends was leaked on social media. Metro reports that Johnson's friend and fellow rapper Clue has come forward to claim responsibility for the voice note being leaked after he shared it with a friend.

Krept & Konan will play London's O2 Arena on 5 December. Find out more.
