We’ve been pretty vocal about Korallreven this year; ‘The Truest Faith’ and most recently ‘Honey Mine’ ranking as two of 2010′s finest singles by a country mile. True to form, Korallreven are never short on offering out their tracks for remix – with past names including Sail A Whale, CFCF, Cosimo and Nhessingtons all stepping up to the challenge. Possibly their most eagerly awaited remix though is this, a fresh take on ‘Honey Mine’ from Gothenburg based producer Dan Lissvik. Stripping out friend and past collaborator Victoria Bergsman’s vocal (Lissvik produced Bergsman’s 2009 album East Of Eden) from the track, Lissvik has created an instrumental take – heavy on the sass with a double helping of sea breeze. Shaken not stirred. Take a deep breath and dive in below.
