Kite Base - the bass-heavy duo of Ayşe Hassan (Savages) and Kendra Frost - have shared their ssecond track "Miracl Waves".
Like first cut "Dadum", it's a psychedelic exercise in rhythm and texture. The beat is lead-heavy throughout, with gorgeous plucked bass tones thwacking in homage to the Krautrock and post-punk of the '80s - Joy Division's ramshackle structures and dour hooks spring to mind at certain points during "Miracle Waves"
Kite Base will play an instore on 27 November at London's Flashback Records, with an after show at The Mucky Pup with DJ set by Phil Winter (Wrangler).
Check out "Miracle Waves" below.
