Kings of Leon to release sixth album 'Mechanical Bull' in September

The Followill family band, Kings of Leon have announced details of their new album release.

Mechanical Bull, their sixth record to date, will be released on 24 September. It follows on from 2010 effort Come Around Sundown.

Rolling Stone reveal that it was recorded in the band’s home of Nashville with producer Angelo Petraglia, who has worked on their last three albums.

The band played a new song at New York’s Governors Ball over the weekend. Watch footage of that beneath:
