Earlier this month Kim Petras teased fans on Twitter by revealing a SOPHIE collaboration was around the corner.

Last Friday (25 January) Petras posted a date - 7 February - with a star emoji, and let fans speculate over two days before revealing what will be landing that day.

On Twitter, the "All the Time" singer revealed, "Yes it’ll b the Sophie collab but also more".

The German singer/songwriter has been linked with SOPHIE in the past, having appeared at Brooklyn's LadyLand Festival last summer, where fan footage emerged of the duo performing Kim Petras' "We Don't Stop", which features production from SOPHIE.

SOPHIE revealed to Dazed back in July 2018 that she had been making music with Petras.

As well as SOPHIE, Petras has worked with mutual friend Charli XCX. Last year Petras also featured on Cheat Codes single "Feeling of Falling".

The new collaboration from Kim Petras and SOPHIE is expected to land on 7 February. Kim Petras will play Australia's Mardi Gras Party 2019 in March after some shows in the US. Find out more.
